Teen charged with rape in Blaine High School case

The 16-year-old boy accused of raping two Blaine High School students has been charged with third-degree rape and fourth-degree assault in connection with one girl, and is also charged with separate third-grade rape involving a second girl. The court ordered a criminal no-contact order barring him from campus, including for school activities, citing ongoing safety concerns. The Blaine School District has responded to federal lawsuits brought by the girls' families alleging their daughters were sexually assaulted inside the school. The district denied many of the claims but admitted others, including that one of the girls told multiple adults she did not want to participate in the sex act she alleges the boy forced on her.
