A 17-year-old boy was arrested Tuesday in connection to a deadly shooting in Pioneer Square last month.

The Seattle Police department said the teen was booked into the Judge Patricia H. Clark Children and Family Justice Center, King County's youth detention facility, for investigation of murder.

A 29-year-old man was shot and killed near the intersection of Occidental Avenue South and Yesler Way around 11:15 p.m. on May 25.

Officers and Seattle Fire Department personnel found the man unresponsive in the lower level of the Sinking Ship garage upon their arrival. The man was later pronounced dead at the scene, despite all life-saving efforts, police said at the time.
