A motorcyclist has died after being involved in a crash in Seattle's Greenwood neighborhood Monday afternoon.

At 3:24 p.m., officers responded with Seattle fire to a multi-vehicle collision involving a motorcyclist in the 700 block of North 80th Street, according to police.

Police said the motorcyclist was driving recklessly in traffic before colliding into multiple vehicles and eventually coming to rest underneath a vehicle.

Seattle fire provided aid to the motorcyclist, but the adult man was eventually pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Police said officers cordoned off the area while detectives with the Traffic Collision Investigation Squad conducted their investigation.
