At the beginning of the law, James worked with Access to Justice Institute to defend the lower-ranking members of the Seattle community. In this position, he went through many injustice. His client was a low-income man who spoke little English. James began to understand that by fighting for these people, he could actively change people's lives and make our community a better place to live. Together with both the Seattle City Prosecutor's Office and the King Council, we worked on citizens' concerns for positive change.
