Stephen Vogt has no interest in Mariners' job
Stephen Vogt told reporters on Thursday that he has no interest in the Mariners' managerial opening. After spending most of the previous four years as the Nationals' backup catcher, Adams was stuck in Triple-A for the 2026 season, hitting.273/.389/.506 with 16 homers in 82 games. His bat has always been intriguing, but he has only produced a modest line in 849 career plate appearances. His defense has been poor, and he is likely to enter the spring third or fourth on the Red Sox' depth chart.
