Despite many praising the tax's benefits, Hansen believes that it is not enough to address the issue of millionaires and billionaires who do not pay their fair share of taxes in a worse state to live in, as well as potential future car condo owners. Other local business leaders warned of potential tax flight. They also expressed concern that their budgets might be tight one day, choosing between buying a fleet of superyachts or a sports team over having both.
