State Legislature — Seattle/Tacoma Metro Districts Cascade PBS, a nonprofit journalism group, has collaborated with other Washington media organizations to produce a statewide resource for the State Legislature, focusing on helping voters make a decision for themselves. The guide includes candidate bios, tips and links to help voters register to vote and vote, and learn about Washington's unique systems. All 98 Washington House seats and 25 of 49 Senate seats are up for election this year. The boundaries of Washington's 49 districts have been withdrawn, so may be voting in a new district this year, and maps will help voters navigate. The Legislature's website may not have updated in time for this election.

We're a nonprofit so we don't make political endorsements of any kind. What we do is publicly driven journalism. The boundaries of Washington's 49 districts have been withdrawn (in a messy and quite dramatic fashion) so you may be voting in a new district this year. Your ballot will tell you which district you’re in, but our maps will help as well. The Legislature also has on its website, but it may not have been updated in time for this election.
